Bike Cart Crash, America’s Just Desserts follows the ride of an ice cream bike from Buffalo to Medina New York where the bike becomes a featured part of an art installation.
In a culture where abundance, facts, and liberty are taken for granted, reality can be the most precious delicacy to perish. Bike Cart Crash #NoPlanForTheFuture is a photographic and sculptural art installation that recreates the site of an accident as a suggestive cultural metaphor. In the installation a topsy turvy ice cream cart exposes a bittersweet punchline, and to some serves America it’s just desserts.

ReNatured is as natural as it gets and as synthetic as it is.

For the series No Plan for the Future, failures serve as a surrogate for uncertainty. Following the 2016 election, the juxtaposition of images of ‘accomplishment’ have frequently been paired with grim realities. The work of virocode echoes this with playfulness, and the letdown of sugary sweetness gone awry. Distributed first as an Instagram post engagement, the series has been realized here as an installation movie.
